Shipping costs on CD Books cut in half

With the improvement of the USPS interface with PayPal I now have more options for shipping CD Books to buyers. I am now able to ship packages via USPS Media Mail which is about half the price of Priority Mail that I had been using. Shipping has now gone from $4.65 for the first three books to $2.13! The downside is that it can take up to 8 days for delivery rather than the 2-3 it used to take. I am working on being able to offer BOTH options.

Still Working on it!

Have been doing an incredible amount of coding on new pages but you really can't tell just yet! I will begin pushing up new pages soon. In the meantime, I fixed a problem with the sublinks on the US Census pages so you should be able to move around agin!

I have the FAQ page back on the site. This page has been down since the site was attacked. The new page is a little different in layout but will allow me to update it more regularly.

Obituary Collection Started

I have added an Obituary section to the Caperton.info Vital Records Archives. As the section develops I will include a scanned image of the obituary as well. If you would like to add an obituary, to this listing, please email me a scanned copy of the obituary from the newspaper.

Wills and Books Sections Added

I have added two new sections to the Archives. First, I have begun transcribing my collection of Caperton Wills. I have collected many over the years, quite a few of which contain genealogically significant information. The first two wills have been transcribed and are available in the Vital Records section.

I have also added a "Books by and about" Caperton's. This listing will cover books of significance that relate to Caperton's. This listing can be found in the In Writing section

1820 US Census Extracted

I have extracted and added the 11 Caperton's found in the US Census for 1820 to the Caperton.info Database. You may access it by clicking on the Census USA link and then the 1820 sub-menu. This brings the number of extracted records available online from caperton.info to over 450!
