This Special Subscription Project is a re-writing of Bernard M. Caperton's work bcbook1"The Caperton Family". If you have access to this project, you will see, listed below, the nine major Chapters of the Book. The first chapter relates to John Caperton, while the remaining chapters relate to his children. While the pages are in the same format as the original book, the text on the pages are color coded. Black text repersents the original work, Green text represents new information not found in the original document, while red text represents information that has been changed as we now know the original to be incorrect. Note that where text from the original document has been deleted, the exact text deleted can be found as a footnote at the bottom of the article as referenced by the superscripted number found at the original point of deletion.

This project is currently in the Transcription stage, where the book is being converted to an electronic and therefore editable format. Future steps include proofing of the transcription, correcting/updating book with new information, and finally proofing the updated book. Once the project is complete, a printed version of the document will be made available.
