The Caperton Project

Just what is the Caperton Project?

Quite simply it is the carrying on of Bernard Caperton's work. In this section is an online version of Bernard Caperton's The Caperton Family, as well as other family histories contributed by Caperton cousins.

I have received permission from Mary Caperton to convert Bernard's book into a database for distribution to others interested in his work. My hope is that others will be able to use this posted data to find where their family links into Bernard's book. Those individuals would then be invited to submit their data for inclusion into a "Master" database. Additional links on the online histories page include the genealogies of families that have already been able to link into the Bernard Caperton book and are willing to have them published here.
