DNA Project

The DNA Project was initiated at the request and effort of long time Caperton.info supporter Marcia Behnke. The Mission of the DNA Project is two-fold. First to identify the common ancestors of the 8 children of John and Polly Caperton. Second to reach out to Caperton's and their descendant in England in an effort to link US Capertons to UK Capertons. FTDNA is the DNA Laboratory being used. Book Project

The Book Project is the first project initiated by Caperton.info and is the reason the Caperton.info website was begun back in 2002. The Mission of the Book Project is to update the book "The Caperton Family" by Bernard M. Caperton. This ongoing project hopes to see multiple volumes of the Caperton Family history released which will link up to the first 9 generations of Caperton's found in America. Transcription volunteers needed! Clicking on the button below will take you to the Book Project pages
